How long have you been in business?
Deckscapes, Inc. was started in August 1995 as a two-man custom deck building contractor focusing primarily on outdoor projects. The company quickly moved to bigger projects including screened porches, basement finishing, and small room additions, thus we formed our sister company DS Construction. Deckscapes, Inc. and DS Construction, Inc. are one in the same company designed to fulfill our customers indoor and outdoor home improvement needs.
The company has continued to grow, both in staff and construction expertise, and will continue to take on bigger and more exciting projects.
What is your primary product or service?
Deckscapes/DS Construction, Inc. offers a variety of products and services for both commercial and residential customers. These include custom-built decks, screened porches, outdoor kitchens, overhead structures, patios, pool and hot tub structures, in addition to basement finishing, kitchen & bathroom remodel, room additions, pool and hot tub structures, including general home improvement projects.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Greg Schmidtberger (Owner/Designer) is a licensed Structural Engineer. A 1985 graduate of Kansas State University.
